Visitors to the Reach Centre should report to the CEH reception desk in the main LEC atrium.
Directions
Lancaster University is set in 250 acres of parkland and lies approximately 3.5 miles south of the City of Lancaster. The campus is easily accessible by road and rail and is within 70 miles of Manchester's International Airport.
By Car
Leave the M6 motorway at junction 33 and take the A6 north towards Lancaster. For Lancaster University main campus – turn right at the third set of traffic lights on the A6 into the University main drive. At the roundabout at the top of the drive, turn right for the Lancaster Environment Centre (LEC). The LEC is the large white building located on Library avenue (first left). Visitor parking can be found either on Farrar Avenue, or anywhere on the perimeter road (the drive surrounding campus) or Alexandra Park. Pay and Display tickets for visitor parking are available from Farrer Avenue.
By Rail
There are direct rail links between Lancaster and London, Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, Oxford and major cities in Scotland. Taxis are usually available from outside the station. Otherwise, there is a bus stop a few minutes walk away on Common Garden Street which is regularly serviced by buses (numbers 2, 2A, X2, 3 and 4) going to Lancaster University.
